SUNDAY MORNING NIGHTMARE: brandnew 2-hour dj-mix by dj supermarkt

hi amigos,
took me ages to finish this exclusive dj-mix for fairtilizer, but it had to be very special because of the amount of - well - average dj-mixes around these days.
This is a full-on club-mix to tear down the dancefloor, but like all my sets all about diversity, crossing over & destroying musical boundaries plus (un)-controlled raw energy and fun!.
The mix will take you from indie-house/disco over electro, fidget-rave-punk to sheer disco hooliganism-heaven!
If you do not start bouncing to these tunes, you must be deaf... or German.. or trying to hard to be cool!?

34 tracks, 110 minutes:

Shir Khan - Partyweekend

Once a year I play at Hive Club in Zürich. It has become one of my favourite clubs and I always had amazing nights there. Its one of these clubs where I play my technosets and I love it. Well - and on Sunday I am gonna go all the way down to my homies Roundtable Knights and Mercury in Bern. They opened a new club and bookingwise and imagewise I think that this club is the future.
The club is called Bonsoir and the idea is quite simple: Dope Bookings + ace Webmarketing. Bonsoir is directly linked with Facebook, Myspace, Playlists from Fairtilizer (to get you the music of the DJS that appear at Bonsoir) and an I-Phone-application where you can receive SMS and daily stories about the world of Bonsoir. Voila!
This is what I want for Berlin Battery.

ADAM SKY'S JUNGLE HOP MIX 2009

Tigas brother recently said about Adam Sky: "I know that Tiga had a picture of Adam Sky up on his wall when he was a kid, that he wanted to BE him, and that Adam put his first record out 30 years ago, which dethrones Sven Väth and makes him the longest-active, still relevant producer as far as I know."

Adam Sky has a new single out on "Exploited" with remixes from Tomski&Fredboy (Tartelet/Get Physical/Whomadewho), Ku Bo (Man Recordings) and JBAG (Kitsune). The single is called "The Imperious Urge" and features the fantastic voice of Danny Williams (the grandfather of his daugther) who was also the voice of the 1961 chart-topping version of "Moon River".
Sadly, he is no longer alive but "The Imperious Urge" demonstrates he'd lost none of his vocal ability.

Not long ago, Adam Sky shared a cab together with Anthony (from Anthony and the Johnsons/Hercules&Love Affair) and told him that some english journalist considered "The Imperious Urge" as a bad copy of "Hercules&Love Affair" which made Anthony quite interested in the song....but I dont want to tell you how the story ends:)
For now I am gonna give you a Dj-set from Adam Sky which he already did in February. Lazy me hasnt put it up so far.....sorry:(

There is also a new single coming from Adam and Zoo Brazil under the name of "Circle Jerks" on Tigas label "Turbo" (the track is in his Dj-mix here).
Furthermore, I have included a few links on Adam Sky....some old article from De-bug, but also an interesting video with Adam Sky at WE LOVE SPAZE@Ibizza talking about his 20th anniversary of Rave (featuring: Alfredo, A-Trak, Ed Banger Crew, Tony Haze, Tiefschwarz). Oh....and make sure you check out me, Adam and Dex at our little Exploited-party in Aarhus in Denmark. Its gonna be happening on the 16th of May at Voxhall at the great LOCO-Party. Yeeha!
PS: And have a look at the links from Danny Williams (RIP) as well.

JACK PENATE - tonight's today (extended version)

Spring is here and all these crazy uplifting pop songs arrive... and i keep dancing on tables all day... If this goes on, 2009 will be THE music year for ages!
I always liked Jack Penate's pure pop-music but never thought he was a genius! Now i have to admit I was wrong. This song is so way beyond anything since... well...Paul Simon discovered african music? Imagine a "very" british pop singer backed by (lets say..) Orange Juice, and surprisingly visited by a 20 piece african-carribean percussion streetgang high on mescal! If this doesn't get you shaking, you must be German! This is what Post Punk to me really was (and should now be) about: combining sounds of foreign cultures with pop and making people dance (and me happy).

The 12 Inch comes with 2 remixes by Mickey Moonlight and you HAVE TO WATCH the weird video (big screen, very good quality) on his website. It comes with real "Hair"-style dancing moves!

what did they put into his drinks... I want to have it too...
