People seem to have problems to distinguish between REMIX and RE-EDIT.
That's one of the reasons I barely do posts anymore. All I got in return was some LOVE and a lot more TROUBLE. From now on I'll keep 99% of my Edits to myself or better: I'll be the only one playing them out on my DJ gigs.
Every once in a while, when I'm sure there will be no GOOGLE taking tracks down or PRODUCERS mad at me I'll let you have a peek of what I edit for my crowd. And maybe if you write me an either friendly or desperate email I'll make an exception and send you a link if I like your haircut.
Generally though I'm fed up with this. Don't get me wrong, I still love Music. Why else would my new 12" on Southern Fried coming in summer be called MUSIC FOREVER? Tracks from this release will be featured in my next DJ Mix.
This Mix done 22nd of March '09 is an oldie in Blog-Time. I did it exclusively to the Mexican Jack Mafia Blog to support my gig in Mexico City some weeks ago. But their link expired... so here you go. feel free to spread, blog, steal, copy and paste.

Man, that sucks. I loved your Re-Edits! But I can understand your decision, because I can imagine, that some artist where pissed-off, you making a better Re-Edits, than they doing remixes ;) So iv there is something cool you like to send: info at housetunez dot de Cya MAW
tell us the name of the producer who was the troublestarter and is guilty for you not posting re-edits anymore and we will directly solve that problem for you "SILENTLY"...

it really grows to a shitty situation for us and all the other good bloggers. Google takes down the posts, but we never find out , why. So actually ANYBODY can take down content of blogs, if you pretend to be the owner of the song.
best example:
Malente's edit for Deejay Punkroc. It got taken down by blogger/google without explanation. BUT!!!!!!! yesterday we receive a mail from Punkrocs publiher and recordlabel-boss, saying:
"Hi, can you please send me the re-edit you did of this track, I cannot seem to get it to play off the website - I am Deejay Punk-Roc publisher and record label, I will not be prosecuting you but might be able to arrange release for your edit.

Is Dj Punk Rock american? Every time i had problems at my blog it was with american artists! Even at some Mixtapes!!!
i'am a friend of your blog but without the malente re-edits it seem not to be "complete". why don't you use a blog system which not belongs to google? or create your own blog system where nobody can remove your posts. a blog system is not very complicatet to create rather to buy. think about that...
of course thinking about wordpress (or so...) for some time..
